"Amanda Daflos serves as the Chief Innovation Officer for Mayor Eric Garcetti and the City of Los Angeles. She oversees a wide portfolio of work including the Innovation Team which was established in 2015 with a grant from Bloomberg Philanthropies. She works on key mayoral priorities and collaborates with residents, community organizations, and City agencies to improve the experience and outcomes of City government. She also leads the Mayor’s goals of moving the City toward gender equity. During the COVID-19 global pandemic, she has served as one of Mayor Garcetti’s key leads for Los Angeles’ effort. Prior to joining Mayor Garcetti’s Office, Amanda served as a Senior Manager at Deloitte Consulting for more than a decade. There she lead federal, state and local government transformation projects in the US and abroad with a focus on organizational and technology transformation and business strategy. "
