About the Session

Learn about and discuss the current state of the art, as well as near-horizon advances, in brain-computer interface (BCI / BMI) and other neural interface technology. We will explore the science, hardware/software, and applications of these emerging technologies across a broad landscape from clinical to consumer to artistic. Dr. Assal Habibi will give a talk about her ongoing studies at the Brain and Creativity Institute at USC on the influence of music training on the development of cognitive and social skills across the lifespan with an emphasis on our ongoing 7-year longitudinal study with children.
